Info about FCC 2013-14
FUTURE CITY COMPETITION
FCC is open to any NDA student in grades 6, 7 & 8 with a C average or higher
Students must also be current on schoolwork to participate-
school before extracurriculars!
Future City begins in the fall and culminates in a final competition in January 2014

There are 5 basic elements :
1. SimCity4: teams create a city in SimCity4 and submit their city for judging 2. Essay: a 700-1,000 word essay (with bibliography) is submitted; a new topic is determined every year 3. City Narrative: teams create a 300-500 word description of their model city and submit for judging with the essay 4. Model: a 3-D physical model of a futuristic city - this is judged in January 5. Presentation: teams create a presentation of their city for the judges in January; can include visual aids |
